I’ve been very behind on this, but it’s high time for another Things I Love Thursday post! Here are a few things that have been making me a super happy girl lately …
01. Our new refrigerator. I’m so grateful to have this! Our old fridge was having major issues and caused our electric bill to reach astronomical levels. This one is supposed to be much more energy efficient and it runs so quietly. It’s also all shiny and new and clean. I totally love it.
02. Extended birthday celebrations for Ben. Why sure, the kid turned 3 at the beginning of September, but he has so many extended friends and family members that we’re still visiting and opening gifts! This picture is from our celebration with my parents and grandmother last week.
03. Related: Having a new home that’s big enough and comfortable enough to have guests over. I love that my parents drop by and visit more often!
04. The Oatmeal’s new Hammer Pants vs. Hipsters cartoon. (Seriously. That guy is the best.) Also, check out From Hipster to Hippie: A Cautionary Tale Told in 6 Steps. Love.
05. This brilliant knitted baby hat, which I totally want to make. (Also, do y’all know Stephanie Pearl-McPhee has a new book coming out on October 18th? I am so psyched for it! I’ll be running out and buying it immediately.)
06. Elsie’s 5 Tips for Staying Inspired are … inspiring!
07. And finally, this story Amy shared about a young boy at Home Depot brought tears to my eyes.
