I know things have been pretty quiet ’round here recently. Sorry about that! We got the keys to our new house (rental) on Monday and we’ve been running around getting ready to move.
My hunny, his friend Eric, and my dad moved all the stuff out of our storage unit today and this weekend my friend Erica is coming up from Pittsburgh to help me pack all the little stuff in the house. So hopefully we’ll be settled in the new place early next week!

B. bed size :: Queen. (I’m stressing how we’re going to fit it down the TEENY hallway of our new house too!)
C. chore you hate :: Folding laundry and putting it away.
D. dogs :: My girl, Gracie-dog, is my best buddy ever!
E. essential start to your day :: Coffee with lots of milk or creamer and a little sugar

G. gold or silver :: white gold (I like silver, but my body-chemistry tarnishes it super fast)
H. height :: About 5 foot 4 inches (a full foot shorter than my fiancé!)
I. instruments you play :: None, though I played violin as a child and have dabbled with guitar and ukulele as an adult. I also really want a set of bongo drums for no apparent reason.
J. job title :: Programmer/analyst. (Sounds exciting, huh?)
K. kids :: A soon-to-be step-son. Undecided about more kids. In theory I’d love a big family, but in reality, probably one or maybe none.
L. live :: Erie, Pennsylvania, though I still think of Nashville as my second home!
M. maiden name :: Is what I changed back to after my divorce. I’m rather attached to my maiden name, actually. I don’t know if I’ll change it when I get married again.

O. overnight hospital stays :: Thankfully, never. *Knock on wood*
P. pet peeve :: Lately? Mike taking off his dirty socks in the living room and leaving them lay all over the floor. ARGH!

V. vegetables you dislike: Most of them. Though I keep trying new vegetables over and over, hoping they’ll grow on me or that I’ll find a different way to prepare them that I’d like. Broccoli, for instance, has grown on me over time.
W. what makes you run late :: When I take Gracie out for her morning walk and she has to sniff every single tree on the block before she does her business!
X. x-rays you’ve had :: Dental and I think I had my neck done when I was in a car accident as a teenager.
Y. yummy food :: Chinese food, sushi, chips ‘n salsa, greek yogurt
Z. zoo animal favorites :: Elephants!! (I have a ridiculous love for elephants — my heart just melts around them. Amazing, beautiful creatures…)
