Though this is far from being a typical love song, for me the lyrics convey an ultimate expression of love between soulmates. It’s one of my favorite songs, and has such a special meaning in my heart.
The song was made famous by Death Cab for Cutie, but this particular cover is the best I’ve heard and I prefer it to the original. The video makes me cry…

I have tons of favorite songs, but two of them were important to our wedding. I walked down the aisle to Caribbean Blue by Enya which has been one of my favorites since I was young (and still makes me cry like every time I hear it), and Africa by Toto was our first dance song. I’ve loved both forever, but they mean even more to me now that they had such important roles on our big day. :)
